Our Services

Comprehensive support for every learner

Chayah Education provides a holistic approach to alternative provision, combining personalised learning, emotional support, and practical skills to help every student re-engage and achieve meaningful outcomes

Academic & vocational pathways

Tailored programmes that combine core subjects with opportunities to build practical skills. Currently delivered in partnership with schools, these programmes support learners to achieve recognised qualifications and prepare for life beyond the classroom, with plans to develop our own accredited curriculum in the future.

Social, emotional & mental health (SEMH) support

A child-centred, trauma-informed approach that addresses wellbeing, confidence, and resilience, ensuring learners are emotionally ready to engage with education.

Reintegration & transition services

Structured support to help students move back into mainstream education or transition smoothly into post-16 pathways, apprenticeships, or vocational opportunities.

Bespoke engagement programs

Creative and practical activities designed to spark interest, re-engage learners, and unlock hidden potential in those who have struggled with traditional approaches.

Building Skills for Life

Academic & vocational pathways

We believe every young person deserves learning that reflects their strengths and prepares them for life beyond the classroom.

Core subject support

Focused, small-group tuition in Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths, tailored to each learner’s needs and abilities.

Vocational qualifications

Hands-on learning in areas such as cooking and catering, gardening, art and design, and hair & beauty, giving learners practical skills and confidence for work and life.

Personalised learning plans (PLPs)

Flexible learning programmes designed around each student’s interests and strengths, supporting engagement, measurable progress, and the development of practical skills for life and future opportunities.

Wellbeing at the Heart

Social, emotional & mental health (SEMH) support

Academic success is impossible without emotional stability. Chayah Education puts wellbeing at the centre of every programme, using a trauma-informed, child-centred approach to help learners re-engage with education.

Therapeutic interventions

Access to 1:1 mentoring, guided support, and counselling strategies designed to build emotional resilience and confidence.

Restorative practice

A dedicated approach to conflict resolution that builds empathy and equips learners with the skills to manage their own behaviours.

Nurture groups

Small, focused groups that strengthen social skills, self-esteem, and resilience in a safe and supportive environment.

A Bridge, Not a Destination

Reintegration & transition services

Chayah Education views alternative provision as a bridge, not a destination. We work closely with referring schools and families to support learners’ long-term success, helping them re-engage with education and achieve meaningful outcomes.

Flexible turnaround placements

We provide targeted support for learners on short- or longer-term programmes, designed to stabilise behaviour, rebuild confidence, and prepare them for a managed return to mainstream education.

Post-16 transition support

Tailored guidance for Year 11s and beyond, including college applications, apprenticeship opportunities, CV development, and interview preparation.

Outreach support

Our specialist team can collaborate within mainstream settings, sharing strategies and providing targeted support for students at risk of disengagement or exclusion.

Re-engaging Vulnerable Learners

Bespoke engagement programs

For learners furthest from mainstream education, we design personalised ‘hook’ programmes that reflect their interests, strengths, and aspirations. Every activity is student-led, ensuring learners feel ownership, motivation, and connection to their learning.

Outdoor & forest school

Using the environment to build teamwork, confidence, and a sense of achievement through hands-on outdoor activities

Creative & practical skills

Opportunities to explore cooking and catering, gardening, art and design, and hair & beauty, all tailored around what students enjoy and want to develop, helping them build skills, confidence, and self-expression.

Life skills & independent living

Practical workshops on budgeting, cooking, and navigating the adult world, equipping learners with the knowledge and confidence to live independently.
